Sossusvlei

Your Namibia safari starts here. Welcome to one of Africa's most amazing safari countries! After some very brief formalities, it's time for you to discover all that Namibia can offer.

You'll be exploring Sossusvlei, an exceptionally beautiful sand sea that's filled with sand dunes of the most beautiful shapes and, near sunrise and sunset, warm sand colors. Climb a sand dune to look out over the desert, search for the perfect combination of sand ridge and silhouetted acacia tree for your Instagram selfie, or just sit back and enjoy the view.

Damaraland

There is no more beautiful area in Namibia than Damaraland, in the country's northwest. While you're here, you might see desert-adapted elephants, lions, rhinos, giraffes and other wildlife, but it's the scenery that is simply stunning with barren mountains, picturesque river valleys, and a number of significant rock-art sites.

5 - 6
Skeleton Coast

We think you're going to love the landscapes of Skeleton Coast National Park. It runs along a wildly beautiful coastline that covers much of Namibia's northwest, with sand dunes and forlorn shipwrecks a real highlight of visiting. There's even wildlife here, from gemsbok and the seal colonies at Cape Cross to elusive populations of desert lions and elephants in some areas.

7 - 8
Etosha National Park

If you're really lucky, you might see four of the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants and rhinos) while you're exploring Etosha National Park. Elephants coated in white dust, and rhinos by the waterholes after dark are particular highlights. But what gives Etosha its gravitas is the landscape of unending salt pans that make for stunning sunrises and sunsets.
